Target is offering an exclusive John Legend "Live From Philadelphia" mp3 album here. Target is finally dipping their toes in the digital music waters, landing a special promotion with SonyBMG. This mp3 version of Legend's album will cost $9.99 and be of higher quality (320 kbps) than those sold on iTunes. The only downside is Target isn't selling the individual songs as singles.
Target's new online sales tool is not a full-fledged music service....yet. Target is trying this offer as a one-off focused only on John Legend. No word yet on whether Target will add other artists from other labels.
