Apparently American Idol is only semi-dominant after last nights ratings. The ratings were down 11% from last seasons premiere. They fell from around 37 million last year to 33 million. Get ready for the media to blow this story wide open. Mainly because anyway the other networks can take down this juggernaut they will try, and two, with out many new TV shows all eyes are on American Idol. This story is like someone in high school says to you "You know Cindy, the hottest chick in the school, I heard she had a zit this past summer". Which basically translates to: they're still the best, but now people have a reason to pick on 'em.
