Marilyn Manson is a fan of absinthe (some crazy outlawed liquor; you know the stuff the supposedly makes you hallucinate). Well Marilyn has developed his own brand, Mansinthe. Clever. Some absinthe experts taste-tested Mansinthe, only to find it "smelled like sewage water, swamp mud, and rubbing alcohol". Well at least he has his music career to fall back on.........oh wait, I forgot its 2008, nevermind.


Eminem will be releasing a book, The Way I am. It will be about his life growing up and Eminem will write the introduction. Awesome, I'm going to go watch 8 Mile. Let me know when your done reading the book.

Rewind: The Week In Rock

We learned Led Zeppelin motivated Marilyn Manson’s reunion with bandmate Twiggy Ramirez. As a bonus, Zep’s John Paul Jones provided some behind-the-scenes info about the big December reunion show, and revealed the band is meeting this month.

Fans hyperventilated at the news that Panic at the Disco is dropping their ! with the release of their next album, Pretty. Odd.

We pondered whether the Writers Strike would make this year’s Grammys anything like the People’s Choice Awards and celebrated Jonny Greenwood’s Critics Choice Award. Snoop Dogg forced us to remember the MTV Europe Awards.
