Apparently, Santogold has roots in North Philly? At least that's what MTV tells us.

"My dad is from the projects in north Philly. [He] changed the name of his school to
Malcolm X High School and went from having nothing to going to Wesleyan and then
to Penn Law School."

So Santi, looks like we have a few things in common. Like fine dining at West pagoda and dodging bullets outside Pearl Movie Theatre. When we getting hitched?
