Radiohead Remixes Available for FREE

This just made my day. California DJ/Producer AmpLive has released "Radiohead Rainydayz Remixes" as a free download.

The selection of remixed and reimagined Radiohead tracks from their recent album "In Rainbows" features the likes of Del The Funky Homosapien and Chali2na rapping over the mixed-up tracks.

AmpLive has put together a website that contains the downloadable remixes with a message that reads, "It's not up to you. It's free." I haven't given the songs a listen yet, I'm saving them for later. Fans' opinions have been very mixed, complaining it just gets clumsy at times. Give it a listen for yourself.

Radiohead played a small club gig after police forced them out of a planned record store performance. I guess thats what happens when a thousand or so people come for a show desiged for 250. What's a Radiohead?

It keeps Getting Worse

Earlier this week, I reported that EMI would be slashing upwards of 2,000 jobs in an effort to rebuild. Well EMI's artists, including Beastie Boys, Norah Jones, and Rolling Stones are not happy. The AP reported this morning that The Rolling Stones have decided to release their next album through rival music label, Universal. It certainly is raining shit on EMI right now. Paul McCartney: gone. Radiohead:gone. The Rolling Fucking Stones:gone. Meanwhile, Coldplay is running as fast as they can toward the EMI exit. Read the AP article here.
